If you know what’s good for you, you’ll get a sewer pipe inspection. If you’re experiencing problems like clogs or leaks, a sewer pipe inspection will tell you exactly what’s going on and why. That’s an exceptionally valuable thing, and that’s why Jim Dandy Sewer & Plumbing offers sewer pipe inspection. We offer these to save you time and money, which can mean the difference between a good day and an absolutely catastrophic one for your Greater Seattle home.
How We Inspect The Sewer Pipes In Your Home
With our sewer video inspection, we can see exactly what’s wrong inside your pipes. We can use a trenchless technology like pipe bursting, point repair, or cured-in-place pipe lining to repair the damage done inside your pipes, which can vary depending on the circumstances of your damage. The inspection is done with a waterproof HD camera that’s attached to a flexible cable and inserted into the sewer pipes through an existing access point, such as a storm drain or manhole near your property.
Regardless of the location of the entry point, it requires little to no excavation, which means little to no damage done to your property. We then inspect your pipe using the camera, which gives us live feedback via a tablet, computer, or phone through a wireless internet connection. We send you a copy of our feedback with either a CD or an external hard drive. You’re just as informed as us when it comes to solutions and problems.
If you have clogs, we’ll just perform a simple hydro jetting cleaning session to remove them. For more extensive damages, like leaks and fractures, we may do point repair or pipe lining. It all depends on what the inspection tells us.
After we inspect your pipes, we clean them out thoroughly with highly pressurized water, called hydro-jetting, and then we set to work. We complete any repairs or replacements necessary, which ensures a solution for your problem, and then we’re done!
