No Problem is a Small Problem| Jim Dandy Sewer & Plumbing

Jim Dandy Sewer & Plumbing offers such a wide array of services, from water heaters to faucets to sewers and drains. Although we are known in the Seattle area for our commercial work, we also place a strong emphasis on our residential services. Some common household problems to be aware of include:

Low Water Pressure

This problem can have two separate causes: the municipal water supply, or a build-up of deposits or sediments on faucet aerators. Water entering your pipes has dissolved minerals that, over time, collect in aerators and can slow down water flow. If water pressure is still low after cleaning the aerators, the issue might be more complex. A leak or breach in pipes leading to your home can cause damage to your home’s infrastructure or foundation.

Leaky Pipes

Leaks usually occur at the joints of plumbing. Although replacing a leaky joint under the sink is not the most complex repair, it’s a messy one and can be a headache if you don’t know exactly what you’re doing. Taking care of this issue sooner rather than later is important due to the fact that excess water can cause a great deal of damage to your home if left alone.

Slow/Clogged Drains

This problem is a common one that can sometimes be fixed with a plunger or commercial drain cleaners and clog removers. These materials, though, can damage pipes if used too frequently. If you are dealing with clogs on a regular basis, this means that the problem is much more than just a clump of hair or other obstruction.

Although each of these common plumbing problems has an at-home solution, it is best to let a professional take a look to figure out if the issue is much bigger than it seems. Jim Dandy Sewer & Plumbing can help with any of your plumbing problems, small or large. So don’t hesitate to give us a call at (206) 633-1141!
